Our Faculty


We have an illustrious staff of professors who’ve made impacts within their individual fields. Notable members of the Sacramento Campus include:

Sean Davis, PhD, Professor

Dr. Sean Davis is a distinguished professor at Alliant International University. Dr. Davis' work focuses on common factors of effective marriage and family therapy treatments. He is widely published in this area, most notably having co-authored the first book on this subject and two articles for which he and his co-authors received the 2014 and 2015 article of the year award in the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy, his field's top journal. Dr. Davis is also the co-author (with Dr. Michael Nichols) of Family Therapy: Concepts and Methods, and The Essentials of Family Therapy, two of the field's most widely used theory textbooks. In addition to his work on common factors, Dr. Davis enjoys international education opportunities, having taken students to Mexico and Italy.

Tatiana Glebova, PhD, Professor and Program Director

Dr. Glebova has served as Sacramento CFT branch director since 2013.  She also teaches courses on family therapy theories, diversity, and research methods. Her research interests include family therapy process, transgenerational trauma, contextual therapy, and professional burnout. Over the years she has written and co-authored dozens of publications and presented at major professional conferences nationally and internationally. She is a licensed family therapist in CA whose practice includes working with immigrant families.

Emil Rodolfa Ph.D., Distinguished Professor of Psychology

Noted speaker, researcher, and lecturer, Dr. Rodolfa has taught several subjects at the Sacramento campus, notably ethics, supervision, and cognitive-behavior.

A noted fellow of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB), he facilitates a research lab exploring psychology education and training issues. He has co-authored three books and numerous articles on education, training, and competency.

The college campus is conveniently located, right off exit 521B of the I-5, and less than a mile from the I-80.
